Patents

As a direct result of our scientific endeavours a number of patentable technologies have emerged. Since 2004 eleven patents have been applied for in a wide range of disciplines:

• Laser technologies
• Laser spectroscopies
• Advanced detector and imaging techniques

These have a direct bearing on the Economic Impact Agenda not only within their particular areas but also further afield in a wider social context.
