Marilena is currently a work placement student with the ULTRA team and is in her fourth year studying for an MSci in Chemical Physics at the University of Glasgow. At ULTRA, she is focusing on ultrafast spectroscopy techniques, including 2D-IR spectroscopy, and is working on establishing an optical photothermal detection system under the supervision of Paul Donaldson. Additionally, she is providing support to staff on other ongoing projects.
