Transient absorption spectroscopy in the XUV

The new Artemis XTAS beamline is designed for studies of transient absorption on gas-phase and liquid-phase targets, allowing studies of element-specific chemical dynamics. The probe photon energy range spans 10 to 150 eV. Pump pulses from 200 nm to 10 microns can be used to initiate dynamics, with a temporal resolution of 50 fs.
