Fast electron transport simulation

The Central Laser Facility is home to some of the world's most advanced high power laser systems.

These high powered laser systems are used by plasma physicists involved in frontier research in the fields of laser-acceleration of particle beams from plasma, laser fusion, laboratory astrophysics, and x-ray production from laser-produced plasmas.

The Plasma Physics Group (PPG) exists to support the CLF and to explore new avenues of research through its world-class theoretical and computational plasma physics research and simulations performed using both the SCARF resource and our own cluster, SCARF-LEXICON.
