Sever joined the ULTRA team as a placement student in July 2023 and is currently studying towards his master's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering gineering at the University of Nottingham. His main role is supporting the work of the other scientist in the group, as well as the initial stages of the planned upgrades to the current facilities at ULTRA. ​​
